Sustainability Award 2023 Badge

Intellihot’s Electron Series of the world’s first tankless heat pump water heaters was recently recognized as one of the winners of the Sustainability Product of the Year Award 2023 by Business Intelligence Group. The victory proudly puts Intellihot in an elite list of businesses like IBM and Mastercard.

The Electron is the world’s first tankless heat pump water heater. It absorbs energy from the air around it and uses that energy to heat water – like a reverse air conditioner. It heats water on-demand without storing it in a tank – the world’s first heat pump water heater to do so.

With an efficiency of 420%, the Electron effectively moves more heat energy than it consumes. Using a CO2-based refrigerant, the product has zero Ozone Depleting Potential and the lowest-possible Global Warming Potential of 1. Designed to meet commercial applications of any size, the Electron marks a giant stride towards the reduction of reliance on natural gas for water heating.
