Haskell has over 20 years of private investing experience and has led and participated in over 60 rounds of financing and exits.  He has been a director of a number of companies, the first of which (Focus Enhancements) went public in 1993. Besides assisting with the selection and management of portfolio companies, Haskell is a key manager of WAVE’s investor networks. He is a member of WAVE’s Investment Committee.

Prior to co-founding WAVE, Haskell was a Managing Director at VIMAC Ventures which he Co-founded in 1991. Before VIMAC, he was a founder and CEO of a successful business in the automotive electronics market and an active private equity investor.  Earlier, he worked on the Municipal Bond desk and public finance training program at the Bank of Boston. Haskell sits on a number of private and non-profit boards including the Windward Isles Sailing Ship Company, Essex County Trail Association and is Treasurer of the Massachusetts Charitable Society (founded 1762). Haskell holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Northeastern University.
